Today we visited York. When we looked at maps last night it said it was 1 hr. 10 mins. away. This morning it was 1 hr. 45 mins. :( We really loved this little town though. They have a Viking museum (that was closed), York Minster (a nice cathedral), a city wall we could walk on, really cute old streets with shopping, and lots of fudge, chocolate and pastry shops. It was a nice day for us. They say "sometimes a change is better than a rest." We had a nice change today, before we say goodbye in the morning starting at 3:30 am-7:00 am. Then off to the temple at 8:30. Wednesday we get 23 new missionaries. Life never really slows down very much here. I am grateful!

| We climbed the stairs up to the top of one of the towers. Round and round and round we went. I started wondering if I was going to be able to deal with the height and the claustrophobia. This was half way. |

| I was shocked to see spring in York today. These blossoms were just beautiful and I saw some flowering plum trees. There are no buds in Chorley to make me think spring is on its way. Just the daffodils! |
