undefeated!!!

Today the Maria Carrillo Puma J.V. Swim Team finished the regular season UNDEFEATED!!! Woo-hoo!!! They have the J.V. Invitational next Saturday the 8th of May in Petaluma. Hailey is totally peaking at the right time. Today she finished 1st place in the 100 back. Her relay team finished 1st where Hailey was the first leg swimming the back stroke and gave them a strong lead to start with. Her team consisted of Hailey and three boys. :) They dominated!!! Today was the first time she competed in the 100 free. She finished 2nd, with a boy taking first! I LOVE going to the meets. Tuesday it was raining and hailing (I thought I would never get warm) and today I had on short sleeves. I have been timing at every meet since the first one so I am unable to take pictures, but I video taped their cheer a few meets ago, for your viewing pleasure!


Way to go Hailey! Way to try something new...stick with it...and do well! You are my hero! :)

our little princess is 4 years old today!!!

miss lauren lucy is 4 years old!!! i'm not sure i have ever seen (or heard) someone as excited as lauren is for her birthday! everything she has talked about for the last little while was either happening before or after her birthday! she is growing up so much! some days she carries on an amazing phone conversation. i suppose it is when she has no distractions. the other day we were talking and she asked me, "is papa jon there...at your mission home?" i explained he was at his mission office but he would be home later. she said, "oh. do you think he could call me later?" pretty much melted his heart! she is just about the greatest grandchild ever born, at least in our eyes. we miss her like crazy, but are are looking forward to her next visit, either next week or next month...it's different every time i talk to her!

we hope she has had an unbelievably amazing birthday!!! all the plans sounded pretty awesome.
