Caernarfon Castle and Snowdon Summit, Wales

Caernarfor Castle
The beginning of our hike to Snowden Summit. We thought it was going to be cold. Look at all of the smiles. HA!
This was as far as I could make it. It was embarrassing, but I was dead.

Thank you to Kristen and Megan, Mike and Nate, for making it possible to have these wonderful days together in England. Kristen's goal was to never see a missionary while she was here. BOO! But she did it. She was in and out at times when the missionaries were mostly already asleep. The girls had to be completely exhausted by the time they got on the plane to return home to their families. It was a joy to have some "family" time on our mission. We love you!

Cotswolds

This is the photo in the British passport.
This is the Cotswolds. It is very pretty and very English countryside looking. We had a fun day looking around.
The lovely town of Burford.

Lunch in Bibury.
Our daily selfie.
Last stop, the church at Stow-on-the-Wold.
The very sad thing about this picture is, I'm really trying to lift my leg up. #noflexability

A Visit from Megan and Kristen - London

Kristen and Megan came for a very quick visit. It was so fun to see them walking out of the customs area at the airport!!! I was in some special need of a family visit...so was Jon, but he will never admit it! We brought them back to the MTC where they both passed out for a minute, then we went to Preston for lunch and to the train station to head to London. My girls were troopers! They stayed happy even in their delirium!
Preston train station.
This was the view from our very sweet hotel. Right across the street from Hyde Park.
We took a little walk through Hyde Park. It was so pretty and huge, in the middle of the city.
Sunset. It was beautiful.
The next morning was beautiful and we started sight seeing at Buckingham Palace.
Westminster Abbey was closed, next stop was Parliament and Big Ben.
Tower Bridge. If you could have only seen the other jumping pictures.
We saw one of our favorite musicals of all time, Les Mis. It was an intimate, spiritual experience for us all. Today was a wonderful day!
