Preparation Day

For P-Day this week, after we exercised, we went to a big, beautiful mall called intu Trafford Centre. It is 18 miles away in Manchester. Of course the GPS didn't give us quite clear enough directions, and we took a very long detour. (this works Jon up into a sweat every time he drives, nothing is relaxing over here yet.) Inside the mall they have a legoland of sorts (very small scale) and an aquarium. We recognized Zara, H&M, the Apple Store and some products on the shelves. There were quite a few restaurants and a movie theatre. We shopped for an hour or so, then went to a movie, and for dinner went to Five Guys. It tasted delicious!!! At home I am not in love with Five Guys, but it seems to be our missionary food since we also had one close by in Santa Rosa.

When we had our training in Provo, they were very clear that shopping was not an acceptable P-Day for mission presidents. We will have to do better next week!
