Our Belongings Have Arrived

Last weekend we got notice that our belongings had made it through customs. We immediately began to panic that we didn't really need anything we had sent, and where would we put the stuff? We couldn't even remember how many boxes we had coming...but we were embarrassed by the things we could remember. (my desktop and printer/not needed, a crockpot & recipe books/not needed, lots of toiletries/I'm actually glad to have, pictures, files, genealogy, etc.) I knew I was anxious to get my clothes...and Jon was anxious to get his beloved golf clubs.

In the end, we didn't do as bad as we had thought. We had 13 boxes, but I think we are glad to have most of what we sent. It is hard to know what you will need when you aren't that familiar with the country you are going to.
