I should have put this recipe on when I told you about how good it was. I'm thinking Lindsay won't mind!
Beef Brisket
4-5 lb. Beef Brisket
(I find my best ones at Costco. Plus, they are already trimmed and ready to go).
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. onion salt
2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. worchestershire sauce
Mix all the above seasonings together and rub onto both sides of the meat.
Bake it at 225 degrees, tightly covered with foil, for approximately 5-7 hours. (Sometimes I do mine overnight). Take it out of the oven and let it cool for about an hour. Pour off all the juices and refrigerate it. Slice it crossgrain, cover it with the following barbeque sauce, and Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, covered.
BARBEQUE SAUCE
1 cup sugar
1 cup Russian salad dressing
1 cup of your favorite barbeque sauce (I use Bullseye).
