Well, last weekend was Hailey's big violin performance with the Mormon Youth Symphony of Las Vegas. Her wonderful violin teacher, Jenny Jackson, has a group called the Deseret Strings, and she gives them opportunities to perform at various functions doing some fiddle music, some sacred music, some classical music, and this year, some fifties music! The kids sounded great Saturday evening, and one of the funnest things to watch, was Hailey's smile ALL the while she was playing. Jon commented that he is SO HAPPY she is well rounded in her interests. (he was teased mercilessly for singing with "jubilation" in high school, but aren't we all glad that he can share that talent now, when his basketball skills have dwindled a bit?) Anyway, Hailey loves her dancing and musical skills, and still enjoys showing off her dunking ability to Lo-Lo and I! Keep up the good work Hot Hay:)!

so, when i asked you what you were doing and you said emailing... you really meant blogging! ;) hailey is the woman! she'll be the girl of the family to graduate from college with straight A's. i plan to graduate, just not with straight A's hahaha. love you bodish!
