the yellow flowers blooming by our pool never last too long, and after they've all blown into the pool and made my husband crazy, that bush starts looking like a bunch of sticks. in the heat of the summer i am usually positive it isn't going to make it another year...and then it blooms again the next spring! i am trying very hard to appreciate every beautiful day...breezes and all, until everyone and every thing start to wither away come summer.
actually, i don't know, i think summer makes us strong and able to survive in the harshest of conditions. we adjust, we sweat, we swim, we are still happy...it's just different. we wouldn't want to be a bunch of sissy's that have to have all conditions perfect to be happy, right?
my condolences to those of you living in the gloomy state of utah!!! i'm just afraid when your spring arrives ours will be over! say-la-vee...

i am soooo loving this weather. we just walked outside and it is perfect. love your plum trees.
i'm sort of excited for summer. i like that take-your-breath-away hot sensation when you get in your car after it's been parked in the sun for a few hours. who doesn't miss that?? :)
how dare you post something like this?! those plum trees are the happiest things i've ever seen.
i don't care how much people keep telling me that utah has the best springs/summers... i like las vegas. i like their 120 degree weather. i like the fact that the sun comes out. i enjoy wearing shorts the end of march/ beginning of april.
so NOBODY should take your weather for granted. cuz the snow i look at everyday is about to kill me...
not to be dramatic or anything... hahahaha :)
Oh I am jealous! My last post expresses my feelings about the delay of spring here! But just wait Sadie I promise, spring is just the best here! I am just becoming a little impatient for it to arrive....
