- during the month of april we had four very special visitors! tod and megan over general conference/easter weekend, sadie the following weekend (she stayed to greet our new missionaries and say goodbye to our departing ones), and keri the next weekend (while jon was away at his mission president seminar)! it was so great to spend time with each of them! it kind of gives me a little boost to keep going and work hard after they leave. they are each very special people!
- i have been going on a morning walk (about four miles) for a little over a month now. i love it! i breathe deeply (what feels like fresh air), i stretch my legs, i should be listening to all the sounds of nature (but instead celine dion and some of my girls dance music has won out - keeps me walking fast), and it just feels really good. this is a beautiful place to walk (rain or shine). this morning i took some pictures of what i see everyday on my walk with my phone. not the best pictures, but you can get the idea!
- hailey enjoyed her spring break very much! she spent a few days in las vegas and a few days in mexico with the wattles! she was in hog heaven! i was glad she had a chance to go...but i miss her when she isn't around! she keeps both of us busy! this is what she looked like when she got back.
- today i planted a few flowers and two tomato plants (for lauren)! my husband was so excited to see me out on the back porch with my hands in the soil, breaking my back! he even came out at the end and helped me finish up! it was fun to do a little beautifying on the porch!
i think it will be very fun to go to our missionaries weddings! it was so great to see these two! something to look forward to!
