...grandchildren that love each other!
...living for forty nine wonderful years!
...going to san francisco thanksgiving weekend!
...having a grand daughter that wants to be a missionary!
...having ALL of your children around you on your 49th birthday!
...having some help to decorate a "real" christmas tree!
...going christmas shopping in union square!
...being able to stop on the side of the road to go pee-pee! ("this is a great idea!")
...celebrating 28 years of wedded bliss!
...getting a bicycle (named the "jenny") for christmas!
...your very own 1 pound bag of pine nuts!
...celebrating your 51st birthday with your grandchildren, in the mission field!
...the wonderful warmth of a sunny day after the rain is gone!

...feeling the love and warmth and testimony of 160 full time missionaries!
...getting christmas cards with pictures and updates from friends and family!
...catching beau after he unrolled a whole roll of toilet paper!
...laughing about sadie falling and megan's monkey face in the christmas eve team photo!
...listening to the sweetest voice on earth tell you that she loves you!
...playing golf with your son!
...cuddling with beau, just because he loves his blanket and wants to snuggle if you are holding them both!
...visiting the oakland temple and seeing the chirstmas lights on new year's eve!
happiness is not...
...freezing at the beach in late november. (though the scenery was beautiful!)
...having to go to the emergency room when your back completely gives out and you lose the use of your right leg.
...taking down christmas decorations. (a little sad this year!) i think my house is more cheerful decorated.
...having to say good-bye.
